Our Mission

We are an after enrichment program the focus on problem solving, and inspiring students to look at math differently. Math Trek started as a program with the purpose of helping students do better in competitive math competitions such as Math Kangaroo, and Noetic. We started with the belief that to challenge students is the best way to make them into more critical thinkers. Over time, we have also expanded our offerings to include Singapore Math( Specifically dimension math), Beast Academy, coding(Python, Scratch), and high level math classes in combinatorics, number theory, graph theory etc.

We began with an idea that Math Competition problems are not just a good way to determine potential future Mathematicians. Math Competition problems can be a good way to introduce, and sometimes reintroduce students to tough, fruitful and beautiful mathematical concepts in the standard Math curriculum: Number theory, Pigeon hole principle, Modular Arithmetic, graph theory...etc.

Here at Math Trek, our primary focus is to develop students’ mathematical/critical thinking capabilities. We pride ourselves in motivating and preparing students to compete in various math competitions, such as: AMC 8, Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiads, MathCounts, and Maths Bee.

We aspires to change the world by inspiring students to become great communicators, collaborators, and creative thinkers who can also perform under the pressures of time constraints and competitive environments. We believe a child’s imaginative ability and self-esteem can be transformed by analyzing and solving complex and thought-provoking problems one problem at a time!
